NTV names its leaders
The chief executive and chair of the National Tenant Voice have been announced.
The body will be headed up by Richard Crossley, who previously acted as co-ordinator of the NTV as it was set up. It will be chaired by Michael Gelling, who is also chair of the Tenants’ and Residents’ Organisations of England.
The NTV has also chosen the members of its main board, which has a £1.5million budget. It is made up of six members found by open recruitment and nine from the NTV’s 50-strong National Tenant Council.
Members chosen from the council are: Nic Bliss, Cora Carter, Brenda Chester, Carole Donnelly, Michael Gelling, Ann Harris, Joseph Kargbo, John Paul Maytum and Pol O’Gray.
The others are: Steven Bright, Professor Tony Crook, Maccs Pescatore, Maggie Shannon, Ian Youll and Andrew Young.
