Orchard Information Systems, the housing management information and communication technologies provider, has appointed Ian Shard as managing director. He previously worked as professional services director for the organisation. Peter Hunt, Orchard’s current managing director, will take up the role of executive chair.

CityWest Homes has appointed Adam Humphryes as chair of the board. Mr Humphryes is a chartered accountant and has been an independent member of the CityWest Homes board since 2008.

Jonathan Higgs is to join Raven Housing Trust as chief executive. He is currently managing director of Home South at Home Group, and will take up the new post in August 2010.

Winckworth Sherwood has appointed Simon Randall as a consultant and Joanna Bussell as a partner. Mr Randall joined on 1 May and Ms Bussell will join later in the summer. Both join from law firm LG.

Bob Watts, executive director of repairs at Homes For Haringey, has taken early retirement after 38 years of service.
