Over on the right hand side of the homepage where it has 'most commented', 'most emailed' etc links to articles, would it be possible to have 'most recently commented'? so that those of us who follow the IH soap operas can get quick access to the stories that have stirred up the most entertaining debates? Often, it seems the best debates are over articles rather than fresh threads in the forums.

It's already there isn't it? If you click on "community" and then "comments" it brings up the stories that have been commented on, how many times and in date order, latest date first. Is that what you mean? This functionality is one of the best bits of the site!

    for some reason i am not able to get a new discussion started  i am simply warned it must contain more than 20 charecters which it does.

    It's certainly having the desired effect on my use of the site. Normally i take a quick look when i've got a few mins to spare but now I'm not bothering.

    Could comment boxes be made any larger, so that eye-scan reviewing is simpler (essential for rushed numbskulls who can't spell) or failing that a preview option prior to posting to assist sending in those posts with glaring errors, or even missing parts?
