Contractor wins deal with potential value of £190m
A housing association has awarded a contractor a deal which could be worth up to £190 million over 20 years.
Affinity Sutton has chosen Willmott Dixon to provide repairs and maintenance to 20,000 of its homes across London and the South East in a five-year deal worth £48 million.
The contract is such that it has the potential to be extended to 20 years at a total value of up to £190 million.
Affinity Sutton, which owns and manages 57,000 homes, is using a wholly owned subsidiary model under the deal.
Ian Morrison, head of property services (compliance) for Affinity Sutton, said: ‘Affinity Sutton has always been at the forefront of developing repairs partnerships and we are delighted to appoint Wilmott Dixon as our new repairs and maintenance contractor in this groundbreaking deal.’
