Ad agency to spice up efficiency drive
The government has appointed trendy media agency Mother to enliven its home energy efficiency drive.
The Shoreditch-based company won the contract after a three-way tender process against rivals DDB and MCBD. It will be tasked with developing the ‘creative’ elements of a mass media campaign that will run through TV, radio, and in print.
The aim of the campaign is to encourage more people to visit the Energy Saving Trust’s website for advice on home energy efficiency.
Jon McGowan, head of consumer marketing at the trust, said: ‘We are delighted to work with Mother, they demonstrated a clear understanding of our business and the challenge we face.
‘Their reputation for delivering results is unprecedented and we believe their creative ideas will be on target to achieve our goal.’
