Aileen Evans is managing director of Aragon Housing Association
Aileen has worked for what is now Aragon Housing Association since 1999 and was previously housing services director.
She took on the additional role of director of MacIntyre Housing Association in 2002.
She became managing director of Aragon/MacIntyre upon formation of the Grand Union Housing Group in March 2008.
During her time at Aragon/MacIntyre Aileen has worked in partnership with the NHS to understand and provide solutions for bed blocking and with local authorities to provide high-quality solutions for those with a learning disability or other support needs.
During her career, spanning 30 years in social housing, she has worked for local authorities and housing associations in a variety of roles, with responsibility for housing strategy, homelessness, a Direct Labour Organisation, the delivery of large IT projects and a large care and support directorate, in addition to mainstream housing management.
