Clare Budden

Clare is described by her colleagues as a champion for housing development and regeneration across Wales, influencing all aspects of housing policy through her advisory role with the Welsh Local Government Association. She established the first Welsh local authority housing company, doing so in response to a problem with providing homes at affordable rents to meet the needs of the “squeezed middle”.
