  • Comment on: TSA forks out £370,000 on two chief execs

This is pretty outrageous, and the link between ther CEOs being paid such high amounts at the same time as funding is being cut to tenants just makes it look a lot worse. It is clumsy at best. Why do the CEOs get bonus payments ?? and who decides if they qualify for bonuses ?? The TSA has been pretty quick to tell housing associations how to behave prudently and ethically but its own rules obviously are not applied to itself. Roll on the end of this truly rotten organisation

  • Comment on: House building starts fall

Very bad news for the whole economy. The Government needs to quickly see the danger signs, and do 2 things fairly urgently - encourage associations ( some of who have grown fat on public subsidy ) to start pump priming some schemes to get things started again; and begin rewarding those associations who have done this, and who are also showing innovation and creativity. This may have the effect of bringing some new players into the market place, instead of those who are content to sit on their bags of money in the hope that they can ride things out
