Preparing for restructuring involved calculating the 'formula rent' which is the target rent figure for each individual council and housing association home for ten year's time (i.e. by 2011/12). The formula rent is based on a combination of individual property values and average earnings in each area.4 Each year the Department (now Communities and Local Government, CLG) suggests a “guideline” rent level to which councils should move their present rents in order to help them eventually reach their formula rents at the end of the ten year period in 2011/12.

Yes Simon they want to be box tickers for the government and sell they souls that they problem. We have no other way of gettng involved. We have no way of contacting the Board or its Customer Chair's or Vice Chair's and Minutes of Meeting not pubished and we cannot the Involvement Manager to adhere
