What a fantastic programme and I hope it is successful with more in the future like it.

Comment on: Hughes warns benefit cap will ‘break up families’
At the risk of facing the lynch mobs I agree with this proposal. Why is that if you work be it on low income you are restricted by your income on the number if children you can have. However, be reliant on benefits and the sky's the limit as there will always be a handout!? I am by no means saying it is easy to survive on benefits but surely there needs to be some incentive to retrain and actively seek work - and yes I know jobs are a premium but is encouraging people to sit on benefits the answer? At least introduce some form of voluntary work to claim it, be it admin, road sweeping, litter picking or helping out with visiting homes or community projects in the areas where people live, that way there is justification to having higher thresholds to claim these benefits.

Comment on: Young people to be restricted to two year tenancies
Surely anyyoung person who looks after their tenancy and enages with support and training/learning opportunities has nothing to fear? Only those who can't be borthered to work , learn or look after their home will have issues.

Comment on: Allocations overhaul to favour ‘responsible’ tenants
What a breath of fresh air, finally some reward to the silent tenants who pay their rent and keep their tenancies well. About time.

I have a secure tenant who entered into a civil partnership a few months ago. The partner of our tenant had not moved in until the civil partnership had taken place. Since this has happened the relationship has fallen apart.
Do matrimonial home rights exist from the moment of the marriage/civil partnership or do they have to be cohabiting for at least 12 months for this to apply. I am getting mixed advice and am confused as I can't seem to find anything concrete?
