Comment on: Barratt CEO: 'Public sector must deliver more land'
Trevour McDonald presented a tv report in which several builder/developers customers were interviewed and checks carried out. Barratts came first if you were heading in a downward direction or bottom as we know it. Its a company with shareholders that the Gov , the HCA, and councillors are happy to hand over public land and funds to. Mr Clare is adding to Darwins theory with the Hobbit Habit, on the way to being the "Bunny" capital of the EU, but not without the Profit

Comment on: Livingstone plans pension fund investment for London homes
I was used to the three stooges, now there are four, seen it all before , guts to say no balls to do, the minute one is elected, Amnesia sets in, and is only able to remember when the term is nearing the end. anyone putting their name on the list for a council home will have to be patient a 34years wait is about right.

Comment on: Council beats affordable homes target
I have never heard of such an area, but as long as the homes remains "affordable " within the tenants means without any unnecessary sacrifies taken either way, thats good news. Should other councils feel a bit ASHAMED.

Comment on: Mayoral candidates clash over affordable homes
I was present at a meeting when Ken, Boris, and Brian were presenting what each would do if elected. My questions were What is their definiton of Affordable homes and who will benefit landlords or tenants, and where is your home and where is our home refering to the 1.2million or so needed within the 33 boroughs. With the TV cameras present it was more like the 3 stooges, each tryng to get more laughs than the other. Both mayors have failed to keep the homeless laughing, Ken jetted off to a caribbean island with more interest there than at home, Boris reduced the % of affordable homes so low you could barely see any change. Labour, Tory or Liberal it depends on which one you would invite home if you had a home

Comment on: Shapps: housing is central to economic recovery
Wave the white flag you two, your sys-dys-totic rate is on the rise and thats a bad sign. The minister is a Guts and no Balls effigy , who along with the HCA is gladly lavishing public funds on builders with shareholders to keep happy HAs, RSLs, (some registered charities) that are anything other than charitable. Public land and public funds should be used to build Affordable homes of the right description for the less well off that will benefit communities. A house of flat for £500.000, will take me more than three lifetimes to pay off. Thats impossible and so is Mr Shaaps idea
