United House reports record results
Developer and contractor United House has reported a record year with revenue up to £239 million in 2011.
The group’s results cover the 12 months to 31 December 2011 and show revenue was up from £201 million in 2010.
It is also announcing today a joint venture with the former director of developer St George Tony Carey to buy a prime residential site close to the Thames in Fulham, west London.
United House has recorded profit before tax growing to £15.3 million, an increase of £6.6 million on 2010 (£8.7 million).
Jeffrey Adams, group chief executive, said: ‘We have been quick to adapt to the changing needs of our customers, such as our successful public private partnerships with Lambeth and the City of London where we are delivering homes and community facilities at zero cost.
‘The group’s financial stability gives clients the confidence to know that they are working with a secure responsible partner, who is here for the long term.’
He said market conditions would be challenging in 2012 but the group would seek to build on its success.
