The Big Housing Debate and Social Housing aim to provide you with all the necessary and relevant information in order to make your participation as enjoyable as possible. We have therefore compiled this list of FAQs to assist you.

General:

When will the Big Housing Debate take place? Where are they located?

The Big Housing Debate is a road show event and will take place across three days. Manchester – 6th December 2016, Birmingham – 7th December 2016 and London – 8th December 2016. The Manchester debate will be held at Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester, M2 5NJ. The Birmingham debate will be held at 5th and 7th Floor, Colmore Gate, Birmingham, B3 2QD. The London date will be held at CIH London Office, 236 Gray’s Inn Road, London, WC1X 8HB.

What is the Big Housing Debate dress code?

We ask that all of the attendees at the Big Housing Debate adhere to a business dress code.

The registration rates are as follows:

- CIH Member Rate: £249 + VAT
- Standard Rate: £299 + VAT

Am I eligible for the member rate?

If you are a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, you are eligible for a Member rate. Please click here for more information.

What is the amendment and cancellation policy for the Big Housing Debate?

On receipt of the booking form, your place(s) will be confirmed by Ocean Media Group Ltd via email and you will be issued with a VAT invoice.

Once your booking has been confirmed by Ocean Media Group Ltd, cancellation charges will be applied as follows:

Within 28 calendar days of event - 100% of delegate fees + VAT

Prior to initial booking(s) 50% of delegate fees + VAT

*Please note cancellation fees only apply to commercial delegates.

**Non-commercial delegates will incur a £50 administration should they not attend on the day and do not cancel their booking or substitute their place.

Delegate substitutions/name changes can be made at any time before the event at no extra charge, when substituting a like-for-like delegate. Cancellations/substitutions must be received in writing. Delegate places cannot be shared.

PLEASE NOTE This booking form is a legally binding contract.

It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the organiser (Ocean Media Group Ltd), to change the content and timing of the programme, speakers, date or venue. In the unlikely event of the programme being cancelled, Ocean Media Group Ltd will automatically make a full refund but disclaim further responsibility.
