Residents set for a warmer winter

Residents of Applecroft and Whitethorn Way in Crackley will soon benefit from reduced heating costs following the news that Anglian Building Products have been awarded the contract to install External Wall Insulation to their homes.

Using the Weber.Therm external wall insulation system, the no-fines properties will be insulated by applying 100mm Phenolic insulation boards to the walls with mechanical fixings. Several coats of render will then be added to form a substantial layer of insulation and finished of with a dry dash finish.

This contract will kick start the new year with installation set to begin on site in early January  and last for a period of eight weeks
