Comment on: Associations at risk of privatisation
Ms Webb 'would not elaborate further'. Silly me, I thought the Chartered Institute of Housing was a professional body not afraid to be open with its members who fund it and stand up for the interests of housing and tenants.
Innapropriate to tell half a story in my view. -
Comment on: Shapps gives details of affordable rent regime
So just to be transparent with tenants Mr Shapps,
If you can't get a job you lose your food money and if you can you may lose you home.
Am I missing something? -
Comment on: Landlords fear approach of rent overhaul
No surprises there then and not necessarily a bad thing but....
can someone tell me how this fits with the ill considered push on development towards intermediate rents and lower grant rates?
Surely not a two teir rent system.
Perhaps I'm just an old fashioned sort of mouse. -
Comment on: HCA cuts £230m and freezes new spending
The cuts of course are no surprise, we were all expecting it. The really disappointing thing is the presentation of issue. On Monday we were told there was £170 million to fund more social housing. By Wednesday £240 cuts to offset and more to come.
I'd hoped for more from the New Government, same old SPIN again though it appears which is very sad.
