Housing Heroes award winners unveiled

The winners of awards set up to recognise the unsung heroes of the housing world have been announced at a ceremony in London.

The Housing Heroes awards, which are organised by Inside Housing with the Chartered Institute of Housing, recognise the commitment, passion and flair of people working in the housing sector.

Former Conservative frontbencher Michael Portillo presented the awards, across 14 categories, at an event attended by more than 700 people from the industry.

  • Well done to everyone who has won or even come close to the awards this year. It's a fantastic acheivement all round.

On a personal note however, it's interesting to see how many ALMOs are in the above list - considering the numbers involved I'm very proud to be part of a movement that continues to create more award winners every year. Long may it last!
