Village Partnership Manager

We are now looking to recruit a caring, supportive and experienced individual to manage our village retirement scheme in Birmingham. These schemes offer a progressive approach to older peoples’ housing and are representative of a new style of accommodation offering older people an affordable, high-quality housing route withextensive social and leisure facilities as well as 24 hour support and care from an on-site team.
Key Responsibilities
· Responsible for the daily well-being and health and security of residents.
· Support residents to enable them to live independent lives in the wider community.
· Contribute to the training and development of staff.
· To work in partnership with the Extra Care Charitable Trust identifying areas of change or improvement.
· Provide effective continued management of the village, including supervising maintenance, housing services and standards.
· To manage all aspects of finance and administration relating to the Village, including reporting and budgeting.
· Deal with any emergencies that may arise.
Core Competencies & Personal Attributes
· Experience of working within a caring role, ideally with the elderly.
· Proven track record of managing front line services and staff.
· Experience of developing and implementing business plans and strategy.
· Compassionate and empathetic approach.
· Strong organisation skills, ability to present and analyse management information.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Able to deal with emergency situations calmly.
