This works out at nearly half a million per property. The problem, as the author suggests, is that if you qualify for this scheme then the chances are that you don't need it. No doubt an army of administrators will be employed to tell people they are not eligible.

One way of keeping the housing benefit bill in check would be to kick out that chap living in a £2million pound property in Notting Hill at £2K per week, all paid for by the taxpayer.

Your manager has a legal responsibility to protect you from harassment both from staff and from tenants. He also has a responsibility not to place you in a stressful environment when this is brought to his attention.

You seem to be thinking that you are in some way responsible but than is a common feeling for those being bullied. Take Joe's advice, put it in writing to your manager and copy HR in.

I have read the article, and given that he talks about the Portugeuese community in South London I am fairly sure he is talking about South Lambeth Road, and Lambeth Council. I have total comtempt for Lambeth Council but I don't believe the author of this article.

You can't just get off a plane and walk into a nice big flat.
