My namesake Mervyn Jones of Savills and I have often been mistaken for each other over the years. For clarification, before joining Yorkshire Housing, I had the privilege of being chief executive at Willow Park Housing Trust. Willow Park did not use bond finance, and I think Mervyn’s comments relate to his previous role as chief executive at Pavilion Housing.
