Fizzy Living buys Walthamstow homes

Private rented sector landlord Fizzy Living has announced plans to buy 111 flats on Blackhorse Lane in Walthamstow, London.

The landlord, which is a joint venture between Thames Valley Housing and sovereign wealth fund Silver Arrow, has reached an agreement with Taylor Wimpey to buy the mix of one, two and three-bed flats within the 500-home development close to Blackhorse Road Tube Station.

The development will include a large modern commercial unit and provide an interactive hub where tenants can socialise and work.

The first block is expected to complete in July. Fizzy Living, set up by Thames Valley in 2012, currently has five schemes across London and the South East. Most are clustered in east London, with one in Epsom, Surrey.
