There appears to be an on-going problem with posting comments that are cut and paste as it states that it is invalid html.
I've brought it up before and its still not resolved and I don't have the time to rewrite a lenghty quote to post on forums..
thanks

We are aware of this problem and are trying to find a way to make the system more usable without leaving it vulnerable to some of the security issues the html block is designed to address. In the meantime if you paste your comment into a simple text editor - such as notepad on PCs - and then into the forum it should work. It is best to avoid email addresses and hyperlinks as well, although if you paste a URL into the post it should work (although it will not be a link).

The problem with links should have now been fixed. You can make text in a post into a link by selecting it and then clicking on the hyperlinks button in the tool bar above (the chain link icon).
For example this text links to an external site, the CLG.

There still seems to be a problem with internal links ie. to other articles on Inside Housing, so I'll report that to our developers.

Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Each time I try and write a new topic, it tells me it has failed as it needs to be over 20 characters, which it is!? I'm probably doing something very silly but its driving me around the bend!
