Providers of Services to Vulnerable People

There are many changes facing providers of services to vulnerable client groups within Supporting People funded & other services across the country. Public expenditure cuts, the "mainstreaming" of Supporting People & the recent ruling which established that RSLs are Public Bodies places additional scrutiny on their actions & the position of their agency partners. The outcomes for this event will be that Providers can organise themselves for the retendering of their services, examine how to deal with contractual & financial consequences and obligations to users of services and 3rd parties (such as agency partners and RSLs) arising from changes to, losses of or gaining of contracts, identify where there may be options for legal redress when contracts are lost, and identify alternative and revised revenue streams.
