Housing association body appoints new chief
The Northern Ireland Federation of Housing Associations has appointed a new chief executive.
Cameron Watt has held the post as an interim position since the departure of Chris Williamson earlier this year. He was appointed the permanent chief executive of the body, which represents housing associations in Northern Ireland, on Friday (27 April).
Mr Watt was previously head of neighbourhoods at the National Housing Federation.
There are 30 registered housing associations in Northern Ireland, all of which are members of NIFHA. A further five non-registered providers are members of NIFHA as well.
