My HA is trying to charge the residents in my block of flats, for work carried out by the repair company they used, for the period 08 to 09, saying that it is due to invoicing delays.
I believe, and I may well be wrong, that if the bill is over 18 months old, if you were a leasehold tenant, you can not be charged for it, as too much time has elasped. Is this correct for my HA too?
They are trying to hike our service charge up by 39% per week, as well as the 5.1% rent increase, as residents we are contesting this, and the above reason for one part has been given, can they go back that far and charge us?
