Does this mean that tenants can delay payment of rent if they give advance notice that they are changing to another bank ?
Surely that is no excuse and the council should have planned ahead to ensure payment of this & other such important bills were made on time. I believe that in Germany to delay payment beyond agreed or contractual date is illegal.
As to non-receipt of the invoice - by whom ? And when did the tenancy start (was the invoice expected) ?
I thought that bailiffs would act only if they were sure that a liability existed - am I wrong on this ?
