Not sure what everyone is concenred about. Lets be frank ALL public sector investment is going to experience massive cuts. We have been spending way beyond our means for many years and it can't continue. Housing may well be taking a back seat for the time being but be assured it will re-emerge as a priority, although probably in a different format, in the future. As Corporal Fraiser used to say "Don't Panic"....and give our new government the chance to sort out the desperate sitaution we are all in - and housing isn't, no matter how much you may want it to be, the main priority.
