Perkylove - I will not go to the length that Jack did to point out how wrong you are, but with one for instance, homeless ex-serviceman I can show you to be wrong.
These heros find themselves removed from the security of routine that they depended upon, and struggle to conduct what we term normal life. Without going through the whole cycle, enough to say they find themselves on the street. Oddly they discover elements of the comarderie they once knew, but they find little help from the nation that they once served.
Now, this particular route into homelessness is becoming more understood and services bought into place. During the times I worked in resettlement the causes and outcomes were clear, but the solutions not so simple.
What you are suggesting with your holyer than thou atittude Perkylove is that leaving these people to starve whilst these issues are worked through is not only acceptable but desirable. Well shame on you.
