Ordinarily that would be true Rosa - what is different this time though is where previously the BBC has been slanted towards putting the incumbent government in a fair light, currently their collaboration in the demonisation agenda is plain wrong.
This is not a question of right versus left but all about either politicisation of the neutral agenda, or more likely, lazy journalists parrotting the live feed from Tory Central Office. Whilst lazyness may 'excuse' the news, it does not explain the 'in-depth' research and documentary programming which again is trotting out the demonistation line.
If only this were leftist paranoia - however, today, the National Police spokesperson has complained about the news media carrying the government inspired demonisation against police, the presenting of police as being highly paid with 'gold plated' conditions, and the presentation of activities and spending as if wasteful of self-rewarding.
Each section of society being attacked are being presented as underserving or in some respect a social evil that our crusading government are saving the nation from. How long before we hear about the over-paid nurse as well as their manager, or the doctors attending seminars in expensive locations etc.
Politics has long been rough and tumble, but I've not before seen in my lifetime such a concerted and organised campaign of propaganda using demonisation as its key. It is deeply concerning in its historical comparisons, and in that it is decidly not in the British Interest to diminish so many parts of society.
