This was the pledge some time ago from Boris - is there any data to show the homes he's delivered meet the pledge to provide larger family sized accomodation, or has he built new hobbit holes in the sky?
The pledge is for that which is needed - research reported in IH shows that there is too few family sized homes and the overcrowding is a massive issue in the City. Restoring the Morrison standard would be a good step - or even going beyond that as this was a standard fit for the last century that surely should be enhanced for the new millenium. Giving families space to be families, incomes for self respect, options and choice can all combine to ensure that communities are founded that are strong. This will be a turnaround from the fractious society that has been created by unchecked consumerism.
Well done Boris for speaking the words, now for someone to act upon them.
