F451 - the campaign against some recent renewable energy schemes in Somerset was based on disproving the exaggerated claims about the benefits of those schemes.
Those promoting these schemes - which are only capable of making money by claiming subsidies - are purely interested in making profit for themselves. If they were interested in saving the planet they would invest in renewables regardless of the economic cost, and put their money where they claim their principles lie. The fact that they don't do that proves that the posturing about "green energy" is a huge confidence trick - it is all about how much money can be made out of the scam.
The only thing green in renewables at the moment is those who weren't quick enough off the mark - they are green with envy about those who were and who will be cashing-in at the expense of the rest of us for the next 25 years.
