A relative of mine has four children, her partner earns enough to support the family, she works part-time and they own their own home. I don't object to large families, when it is planned and the parents can independently afford it.
Instead, relying on the state has just increased the family's vulnerability. There aren't enough people working and paying tax to foot the hundred odd billion welfare bill. You just don't seem to get how much a difference even a low paid job would make.
