Absolutely like those evil people.
It is nice to win, but when politics is simply about winning so that the other guy has lost, and ceases to be about using ones talents to do ones best for people regardless of how they voted and regardless of what wealth that they may or may not have, then politics has ceased to be politic.
Blair wanted to win regardless. After winning only winning again matters. Doing nothing with the power won was acceptable so long as it meant winning again.
Does the Blue Labour use of 'dark arts' make the Tory deployment something positive?
It was once said that people get the government that they deserve. I think that this is correct; but I would hope people would come to understand that they deserve so much better.
