I have never said anything of the sort.
Perhaps you need to concentrate more on what I actually say and less on what you think I might be "implying". I don't intend to imply anything - I try to say things directly and clearly.
The population statistics that I am working from are the latest ONS "live tables" and they show net emigration figures for British residents of 55,000 for the YE June 2011, not "over a quarter of a million" as you stated.
The historical origin of the present UK population is absolutely irrelevant to a consideration of housing supply and demand in the UK from this point onwards.
