Re: Comments made on 'bedroom tax'
If people move to smaller accommodation as a result of the 'bedroom tax' then this act could free up accommodation suitable for families currently living in temporary accommodation. I know the policy is primarily about saving money but if it incentives downsizing and allows families to get off the Homeless/Housing register then the policy will have it's benefits to the most vulnerable in society too (homeless families).
There are negatives and positives to this policy the latter of which I think have been overlooked. Just trying to add some balance to the debate.
