For some time Britannia Plc. has been heading for the rocks steered by an incompetent and selfish business and political officer class. Through their incompetence they have overseen the decimation of our manufacturing industries and by extension jobs. They thought deals could be struck over lunch lubricated by one bottle or two bottles of Bollinger. It is now clear that Britannia Plc. will be forced to down size and the economic cake grow smaller, however not for the officer class if they can help it. So their plan is to slash left and right, to drive a coach and horses through social income and support provisions that an underclass of battlers depend upon, for after all the likes of Cameron and Clegg have little need for those services.
It is not much fun in GB being at the bottom of the economic heap, at least council housing provided the prospect of an affordable roof over the head of the economically and socially disadvantaged. Now Cameron and Clegg apparently choose to positively discriminate against the economic battlers in favour of property developers and the caste of middleclass homeowners by wresting public land and putting it in effect at the disposal of the private sector. To discriminate against rents the disadvantage could just about afford in favour of mortgages the Battlers just cannot afford.
