Jamie Ratcliff will join Network Homes in April after more than seven years at the Greater London Authority.

The executive director of business performance and partnerships role is a new role created by Network Homes and will see Mr Ratcliff provide strategic support to Helen Evans, chief executive of Network Homes, to bolster the association’s external partnerships, relationships and profile, and support the work and influence of the G15 group of large London associations.

Ms Evans will begin her two-year term as chair of the G15, taking over from Paul Hackett, boss at Optivo, in June.

Mr Ratcliff will also be responsible for driving policy and service improvements for Network Homes residents.

Mr Ratcliff has more than ten years’ experience working at a senior level in housing at the Homes and Communities Agency, Norwich City Council and the GLA.

He has spent more than seven years at the GLA, first as a senior area manager and then as assistant director for housing.

His other roles include a place on the board of the Watford Community Housing after taking up the role in September last year.

Mr Ratcliff said: “I’m immensely proud of the great things we’ve achieved at the GLA with our partners over recent years, and I’m incredibly excited about this new opportunity at Network Homes, a dynamic organisation with a strong social purpose.

“I’m looking forward to overseeing another record high number of affordable homes starts this financial year before I leave the GLA and focus on my new role, helping Network Homes maximise its positive impacts on the places, communities and people it works with.”

Update: at 9.1.2019: This report was updated to make it clear that Mr Ratcliff will be an executive director, rather than a director
