Sixty of the list of 100 organisations compiled by Best Companies are either housing associations or closely involved in the housing sector.

The top organisation to work for is One Vision Housing, for the second year running. Chief executive Roy Williams said: ‘To triumph over every other public sector organisation in the country is nothing short of brilliant, and to sustain our position over a two year period is unheard of, we’re very proud of what we’ve achieved.’

Also in the top 10 are Dale & Valley Homes, at number three, B3Living, at four, and – from places seven to 10 – Wales & West Housing, Calico, Bromsgrove District Housing Trust, and New Charter Housing Trust Group.

John Giesen, chief executive of B3Living, said: ‘The most important thing about this award is that it reflects the great service we provide to our residents and partners. We want to live our values and it shows.’

The full list of the best not for profit companies to work for was published in the Sunday Times yesterday, and is also available here.
