A recent Inside Housing survey revealed that fourteen of the largest housing associations are planning to spend at least £1.19bn on a range of fire safety measures over the next five years, including inspections, interim safety measures and major remediation programmes.
In the aftermath of Grenfell, the focus was on removing ACM cladding, but an inspection drive since has revealed a litany of other safety issues. This session will look at key learning from where the sector finds itself today, how it should best approach the fire safety backlog, and how this will impact on its other priorities.
