Local authority moves in August 2019
- Philip Browne (pictured) has been appointed director of housing development at Ealing Council and started on 12 August. He joins from Clarion Housing Group, where he was national new business and partnerships director.
- Eamon McGoldrick was appointed chair of The Barnet Group and Barnet Homes, companies that are wholly owned by Barnet Council. He began on 1 August and will be combining the role with his position as managing director at the National Federation of ALMOs.
Housing association moves
- The Guinness Partnership has appointed Trafford Wilson (pictured) as executive director of customer services. He was previously managing director of customer service at BT Business and is also a vice president at The Institute of Customer Service. He began his new role on 13 August.
- Olukunle Olujide has been appointed director of development by Islington and Shoreditch Housing Association, joining the organisation from The Guinness Partnership where he is currently head of development – delivery for London and the South East. The organisation has also promoted Dawn Harrisson to director of housing and neighbourhoods from her previous role as head of customer homes.
- Pobl Group has appointed Neil Barber as managing director – commercial, having previously been director of development, sales and new business. He will start in November, replacing the current managing director Darrell Bolton, who is set to retire.
- Shepherd's Bush Housing Group has appointed Caroline Moore as director for people and culture. She was previously employed as people director for Northern Europe at Sage Group PLC and started at Shepherd's Bush on August 7
- Paradigm Housing Group appointed John Hyland as risk assurance manager. He was previously risk and compliance manager at Cottsway Housing Association, and started his new role on 19 August.
- Silva Homes has appointed Dasos Christou as executive director (customer relations) at Silva Homes. He was previously head of customer service at the Richmond Housing Partnership, and started on 5 August.
- Leigh Grubb joined Caledonia Housing Association as director of finance and governance. He has previously held roles across the financial services industry, including at Alliance Trust. He began on 26 August.
Other moves
Developer Apex Airspace appointed Jonathan Poole (pictured right) as construction director and Ricardo Simoes as senior project manager. Mr Poole moved from his prior role as operations director at Mace while Mr Simoes was previously project manager at Curo.
