Moat hires former Paradigm assets boss as director of property services

Mark Warner has joined housing association Moat as its new director of property services #UKhousing

Mr Warner has more than 20 years’ experience working in housing and joins Moat directly from Paradigm, where he served as head of asset management.

In his new role he will lead Moat’s property services function and will be developing Moat’s strategy and approach in the repairs section.

Before working at Paradigm, Mr Warner spent 11 years at South East-based provider Housing Solutions Group where he was also head of asset management.

His new role will involve ensuring that the organisation invests in its homes appropriately, that all homes comply with health and safety requirements and that Moat effectively manages contracts with partners.

Moat manages more than 20,000 homes across the South East of England.

Mr Warner said: “Working in the housing sector for over 20 years has provided me the opportunity to give something back and play my part in ending housing need. As well as having this as their vision, Moat has a set of values that align with my own values.

“I am very fortunate to join this great organisation, and I am very much looking forward to delivering an effective, innovative repairs service that is right for our residents, as well as making those homes more energy efficient.”
