Papers react to the National Audit Office review of Universal Credit and Grenfell anniversary coverage continues

Today’s papers are full of reaction to the damning National Audit Office report on Universal Credit. See our write up here, and the BBC’s coverage here. The I is among the papers giving a breakdown to its readers of what the controversial welfare reform is while The Guardian has a lengthy write up of what it calls a ‘savaging’ by the National Audit Office.
There is also much coverage of the Grenfell anniversary, with Dazed magazine publishing a detailed piece looking back at tenants’ experiences on estates with safety issues. There is also coverage of the silent vigil in west London to mark the anniversary, with the BBC estimating the number of attendees at 5,000.
