The press covers a Crisis report warning that rough sleeping is set to increase dramatically if current policies don’t change, and the London housing market lull spreads outwards.
In the news
A major homelessness study commissioned by Crisis that revealed rough sleeping is set to increase by more than 75% over the next 10 years has been given coverage in both The Guardian and The Independent.
The Guardian led on the line that homelessness could double by 2041, while The Independent went with the rough sleeping increase.
At the opposite end of the housing spectrum the BBC reports a lull in the London housing market is spreading out of the capital into the South East, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
This was also picked up by The Telegraph, who said this was the 17th month with low levels of enquiries from new buyers.
