Nearly 30,000 fewer affordable homes would have been built over last five years under new planning laws, analysis shows

Tens of thousands of affordable homes would have been lost over the past five years if the government’s proposals around small sites being exempt from being required to deliver affordable housing had been in place, research by the Local Government Association (LGA) has revealed today.
