CIH president @strangparkhead will face your questions in a Twitter Q&A for #ScottishHousingDay tomorrow #ukhousing

The minister for housing, local government and planning will tweet his answers in a session from 12.45pm.

Earlier in the day, at 9am, Jim Strang, vice president of the Chartered Institute of Housing, will sit in the Twitter Q&A hot seat and attempt to answer your questions.

To take part, simply tweet your questions using the hashtag #ScottishHousingDay once a Q&A is underway. Follow @strangparkhead and @KevinStewartSNP to ensure you don’t miss their answers.

#ScottishHousingDay aims to raise awareness of the latest developments in housing.

The theme of this year’s tweetathon is ‘young people’s housing options’ and aims to “get the message out about your housing options and dispelling myths”.

However, Mr Stewart and Mr Strang are willing to take your questions on a wide-range of housing topics.

In addition to the Q&As, Inside Housing will be publishing blogs from senior housing figures in Scotland on the day and retweeting your stories, pictures and videos.

The day is organised by: the Chartered Institute of Housing Scotland, the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations, Homes for Scotland, Shelter Scotland, the Association of Local Authority Chief Housing Officers, the Scottish Association of Landlords, the Tenant Participation Advisory Service Scotland, Registered Tenant Organisation Regional Networks, and the Scottish Government.

The day is an entirely different event to #HousingDay which seeks to promote the benefits of social housing, and takes place this year on 10 October.
