The campaign calls on government to fund the retrofitting of sprinklers in high rises and on landlords to carry out annual risk assessments and check cladding systems for fire safety.

Columnist Jules Birch was also shortlisted for columnist of the year in the trade media.

Inside Housing has also been nominated for news provider of the year at the British Journalism Awards, largely for its news coverage of the Grenfell disaster, and a number of International Building Press awards.

It also cited the magazine’s Never Again campaign and warnings over fire safety in the build-up to Grenfell.
