Irwell Valley Housing Association has appointed Sasha Deepwell as its new chief executive.
Ms Deepwell, currently deputy chief executive of Wulvern Housing, will take up her new role at the 8,000-home Manchester landlord in January.
She said: “This is an exciting time to build on the successes achieved to date and to lead the organisation forward in fulfilling its mission of creating the conditions for colleagues and customers to reach their full potential.”
Ms Deepwell has also previously served as assistant chief executive at Liverpool-based Plus Dane Group.
Her appointment follows the sudden death of long-serving chief executive Tom Manion earlier this year.
UPDATE: at 9.33am 2.11.16
A previous version of this article incorrectly described Ms Deepwell as chief executive of Wulvern Housing. In fact, she is deputy chief executive. We apologise for any confusion.
