Midlands-based housing association Accord has promoted its commercial director to act as its new deputy chief executive.
Accord, which owns 13,000 homes mainly in the West Midlands, announced the appointment of Alan Yates today.
Chris Handy, chief executive of Accord, said: “I am delighted to announce Alan’s promotion to deputy chief executive. This new appointment is part of Accord’s ambitious growth plans for the future.”
Mr Yates said: “I am really excited to take on this new role at Accord, and I am looking forward to continuing to deliver our strategic growth strategy.”
In October 2018, Local Homes, which is part of Accord, opened an offsite factory designed to produce more than 1,000 new homes a year. The £1m investment received funding from Homes England and the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership.
