Mike Kirk, former chair of First Wessex, will take over from interim chair John Barker, who previously headed the board at Sentinel.

Vivid was formed through a merger with First Wessex and Sentinel in April this year and now owns around 30,000 homes across the South East.

Mr Kirk has previously worked as a corporate advisor to construction, engineering and energy companies and was also managing director of PR agency Weber Shandwick Square Mile before moving into the public sector in 2012.
