Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) has appointed a new chief executive.
Paul Moat, currently director of assets and compliance at the 9,200-home landlord, will take the top role in September.
He replaces incumbent Mike Andrews, who is retiring.
Mr Moat has worked for NCHA for nearly 20 years.
Claire Winfield, chair of NCHA, said: “After an extensive external recruitment process the board and I are thrilled to have appointed Paul.
“We are confident in his abilities to drive our organisation forward with continuity and a strong vision for our future. I would like to wish Paul the very best of luck in his new position.”
Mr Moat said: “It is a real privilege for me to be offered the role of chief executive. I’m looking forward to working with our customers, staff and partners to continue the great work that Mike and [NCHA founder and former chief executive] Andrew Malone have instigated.
“I am very proud of the work of NCHA and I look forward to leading us from strength to strength.”
NCHA is one of the largest housing associations based in the East Midlands, with stock in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.
