A London housing association appointed a new chief financial officer, it announced yesterday.
Ebele Akojie, who currently serves on the audit committee of the Salvation Army Housing Association, joined the South East-based One Housing from Notting Hill Genesis.
She has a background in finance and senior management in the housing sector.
Ms Akojie said: “I am excited to be joining an organisation that is so focused on helping to solve the housing crisis and has such a strong social purpose.”
The not-for-profit housing association aims to build build 3,600 houses by 2019 and thousands of homes in the next decade.
Richard Hill, chief executive of One Housing, said: “Ebele brings strong financial experience and a commitment to our vision and values which is crucial for our business going forward.
“We are delighted to welcome Ebele to the One Housing team.”
